January 2022 Newsletter
A very happy New Year to everyone.
In September we had some very sad news, that Alan - our wonderful friend, Trustee and beloved husband of Vicki Matthews - died after a long illness. Alan was an ardent supporter of Prescription Arts since it’s inception. He will be sorely missed by us all and our thoughts are with Vicki at this very sad time.
Lindsey Parson, our patron and long time supporter has kindly agreed to become our new Trustee. We look forward to working together and continuing with the development of PATV.
So after a very difficult year we are at last looking forward to welcoming a new class at the end of January. We have forged links with local Social Prescribers and are now receiving a steady stream of new referrals.
In some rare good news we were delighted to receive a grant of £1600 from the Lottery Fund which was an enormous boost and covered the cost of running the follow on art group through the Autumn plus the inevitable expenditure that running PATV entails.
Here are some photos of the group and their work.
Let’s hope 2022 is better for all of us. Can’t wait to see the Dr Peter centre buzzing with creativity on a Tuesday afternoon
