November Newsletter

We have had a very busy few weeks at PATV, not only with our current session which has produced some fabulous work, but with projects to get ourselves better known in the community and connecting with others who are involved in social prescribing.

At the end of October Vicki and I attended a meeting of the Social Prescription network for Hampshire and the Isle Of Wight in Fareham. This group is trying to co ordinate the many different community groups through Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It is a work in progress and we are pleased to be included and to be be able to share what we have achieved so far and learn from other organisations.

On November 3rd we attended the Wellbeing Fair in Romsey where we met lots of lovely people, who were interested in what we were doing. Many contacts were made and we will be following those up in the next few weeks.

On November 5th Vicki and I gave a presentation to the Romsey Inner Wheel at their meeting at the White Horse, Romsey. We were very honoured to be invited and it was good to meet so many people who were enthusiastic about PATV.

On November 4th we had our final afternoon of this six week session. We invited Jonathan Birch of Dovetail framing to talk to the participants about framing their work to its best advantage. The participants of this group will be meeting again at the follow on sessions we have on offer

On November 7th I met with the Butterflies Bereavement Group at Wisdom House to talk about how we can corroborate with them.

From Tuesday 13th November our mini exhibitions are going on display for two weeks at Nightingale and Abbeywell Surgery. Hopefully, this will help to raise awareness of what PATV has to offer.

We have some lovely new Christmas cards we have sent just off to the printers that will soon be available for sale at £1 each ((25p of which goes back into PATV funds) These will be on sale at Romsey Information Centre and The White Horse. If you would like to purchase any of these cards please contact us at
