Trustees
Jill Wilson
Jill trained as a nurse and has spent most of her life, when she was not bringing up small children, in health care administration. Jill joined the Rum’s Eg Singers and enjoyed singing in a choir so much, she suggested that singing was so good for you it should be available on prescription. A year later, with the help of a wonderful team, enough money had been raised to run art and singing classes for Romsey patients.
Jill says, "It has been very rewarding seeing people really benefitting from these sessions and hope that we can continue to help more people as our service expands and becomes more well known".
Peter White

Peter is a retired GP who worked in Romsey for 33 years. He is a firm believer in lifestyle and its effect on health. A lifetime interest in the arts together with review of the medical evidence has convinced him that for certain patients the intervention of social prescribing and Prescription Art may be as if not more beneficial than medication, although both can complement each other.
